Pasquale and the accordions
Toronto, Eglinton Music Center

Pasquale was born in Savuto di Cleto, Italy 1939. He began his musical career taking lessons from Maestro Mario Aloi in Amantea, Cosenza. In 1957, he immigrated to Canada and continued his studies in Ottawa, Ontario, where he participated in many festivals and received many first prizes.

He moved to Toronto in 1962 and taught in the Vavro School of Music. Subsequently, he entered a partnership with Italo-Canadian Music Centre St. Clair & Dufferin St., and continued to teach from the Centre.

Pasquale moved to his present location, 1756 Eglinton Avenue West, in 1964. He shares his love for music and the accordion with his many students and also offers a complete selection of musical books, sheet music and instruments.

Pasquale had his own band for 25 years. However, he now performs solo for private parties and wedding receptions. He also plays in various restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area.
During all these years, people have asked if he had recorded any of his melodies with the beautiful sound of the accordion. So it was with great pleasure that he finally decided to record these various favorites for your enjoyment.
